2014

this kid was great he was very mechanically minded and wanted to make a trebuchet.

we  get a good mix of kids the one who made this was wanting to make this for his last project. a lawn ornament for his mom. haha. although i didnt influence it, it is good to let them kind of flow. the same kid that made the trebuchet made this crashed rocket , the glass ord blown in the middle was made from glass he blew himself. since they are creating in other mediums in the camp at the same time as well and its pretty cool because we had a few great marriages of mediums. the rocket was blown using the PUFF PROJECT. iw ould like to do puffs again.

puff donut based on the simpsons
another puff piece. the student that worked on this was not a very good welder, or even coordinated, but he worked really hard. the kids come to us at different developmental stages. this guy was pretty motivated, but his hand eye coordination really wasnt developed we did a lot to speed up his process...... haha

the same kid that made the lawn ornament made this mini truck. he was a real self starter and pretty much only needed one or two demos and advice on technique but took it all head on on his own a very independent motivated worker it was pretty boss.

another puff, we put a light behind this to make it in to a lamp

the lotus was great she used her jewelry class copper work to really enhance this

this was a shelf and looked like a mountain view from the

this girl was awesome she reallly got in to making creatures and this was an angler fish lamp. the shape was a puff
this was the demo we did for a creature.
truck, lawn ornament guys lantern
we had them make piles of weld as a competition, this one turned into a cat.
